Hi! I’m Cassandra. I live in Kansas. I am married and have two boys, an 18-year-old and a 10-year-old. Both of my boys have Autism along with other medical conditions that make life challenging. I’ve always struggled to hear God, so when I saw this opportunity, I wanted to see if it would help me to focus more so that I could hear Him!

Hi, Cassandra! My son is autistic, too. Yes, it does keep a mama busy. Do you have an quiet time or space already? I know it will be hard to find that time. It’s hard for me, too, sometimes. As my son is now 19, it’s getting easier. I’m glad you are here. Let me know if there is anything you want to discuss! Kelly

Yes, I have a quiet space. I have an office, since I work from home. I knew about you having a son with Autism. That's how I found you – I started following you when you were blogging and your book on Autism. My oldest just turned 18. Things have only gotten easier for us because he's been at a private residential school for kids with Autism for 2.5 years. He can stay until he's 21, if our school district will pay for it.

Cassandra: Are you in NC by chance? Alec got a grant for his tuition, but I only found it for his Jr. and Sr. years.

No, Kelly. We live in Wichita, Kansas. Caleb attends Heartspring. We’re very fortunate it’s only 20 minutes from our home. All of the other residential students are from out of state or out of the country.

Hi, Kelly,
My name is Alice. I have been using multiple Bible study and prayer journals so there are so many on my shelf. I would like to get start with digital so here I am, first time doing so. I got a few questions; yet, purchased the ultimate digital bundle before I started as the New Year resolution and self-motivation.

  1. Any tips for the first timer?
  2. Only shelf note is suggested, any other note app?
  3. Is the note searchable? I usually leave the first few pages of my journals to log the significant God's moment.
  4. Can the notes exported?

I am very excited to start. Any tips will help. Thanks for your faith services to design and share this to others.
Blessings,
Alice

HI, Alice! I’m so glad you purchased the journal. I have switched to a digital journal for the last two years, and I love it. I am very happy to help you get started and answer any questions.
First, which tablet do you have? Apple iPad? Another platform?
I use GoodNotes with an iPad…I should have mentioned that, but if I didn’t, I’ll need to edit the instructions.
The really cool thing is that your handwriting IS searchable in the apps, and yes, you can export them. I have journaled about lots of things and had a hard time finding things, but now, I search for a word and find all of the instances. Very nice! And all of my journals are in one place. You can even print them at the end of the year if you want to do so.
I’m happy to work with you and make a few videos for you specifically. Let me know what tablet you have.
I will definitely help you get started! Looking forward to it,
Kelly

Kelly,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I use free note app in Playstore. Need to find out whether I have to buy the app again when I switch device.

Hi Kelly!
I recently discovered your course and looking forward to learning more about how God speaks!

Hi, Jane! Yes, He is speaking! Here is the verse that backs it up:
John 16:13….
"But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]."

Hi Kelly, thank you for that scripture it's a wonderful reminder that we have a Comforter who only reveals what He hears. I'm really excited to grow deeper in God. Learning how He speaks really is a game changer.
